Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
- Profile illegal dumping hotspots
- Capture and photograph illegal dumping hotspots and vehicles
- Conduct inspections of waste storage facilities and areas
- Hold information sessions for reclaimers
- Monitor recycling facilities and waste sorting centres
- Support recycling initiatives
- Inspect buyback centres
- Prepare and issue by-law enforcement notices and fines
- Conduct information sessions
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Matric plus three years of study (N + 3) in Environment, Biodiversity, Conservation, Forestry, Air Quality, Landscaping & Horticulture, By-law Enforcement, or Environmental Health
- Youth aged 18 to 35 years; people with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- Preference given to graduates residing in the Mogale City area and South African citizens
- Required documents: Application letter, Curriculum Vitae, certified copy of qualifications, Matric certificate, and ID
