Position Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Buyers Assistant to support our Outdoor department’s procurement and product development operations at our Cape Town head office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to buying team
- Manage sample inventory and product photography coordination
- Maintain PLM system with accurate product information
- Handle purchase order processing and supplier communication
- Prepare visual presentations and marketing brief materials
- Organize seasonal sample sales and product reviews
Requirements:
- Matric certificate (essential)
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field (advantageous)
- 1-2 years experience in procurement/retail operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of outdoor products/market trends
