Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated Waste Management strategies for Ekurhuleni
- Align department operations with organizational goals and legislative requirements
- Manage strategic partnerships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Oversee compliance with municipal bylaws and regulations
- Lead financial planning and budgeting processes
- Drive human resources management and operational efficiency
- Implement innovative solutions for waste management challenges
Essential Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in relevant field
- Professional registration with relevant body (advantageous)
- Proven track record in large-scale organizational leadership
- Advanced knowledge of project management and relevant legislation
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
