Experience Needed: 10+ years leadership experience (5+ years at senior management level)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated Waste Management strategies for Ekurhuleni
  • Align department operations with organizational goals and legislative requirements
  • Manage strategic partnerships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Oversee compliance with municipal bylaws and regulations
  • Lead financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Drive human resources management and operational efficiency
  • Implement innovative solutions for waste management challenges

Essential Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in relevant field
  • Professional registration with relevant body (advantageous)
  • Proven track record in large-scale organizational leadership
  • Advanced knowledge of project management and relevant legislation
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
