Purpose Statement

• Utilize your data proficiency to provide insights that help senior decision-makers make quicker and better decisions.

Education Requirements

Minimum Education

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Statistics.

Preferred Education

• Certification in Business Analysis or similar fields.

Knowledge and Experience

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar business intelligence analyst role.
• Proficiency in ETL (extraction, transform, load) data flow.
• Proven capability in identifying and delivering data-driven solutions to business challenges.
• Experience in analyzing complex data sets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Skilled in data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of database management, data warehousing, and data mining.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagements, including senior management.
• Expertise in data quality and incident management.
• Understanding of agile project management and tools such as Jira.
• Experience in quality assurance and oversight of the work of others.

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of agile project management.
• Proficient in using complex SQL for data preparation and analysis.
• Awareness of data privacy and security regulations and best practices.

Ideal Experience

• Experience as a business intelligence analyst within the banking sector.
• Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with low/no code AutoML tools like Power BI or AWS SageMaker.
• Understanding of change management methodologies such as ADKAR.
• Experience in lifetime value analysis and propensity modeling.
• Knowledge of User Experience (UX) principles from customer interactions.
• Experience in automation with software robots on platforms like UiPath or Alteryx.
• Ability to use scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.
• Basic experience with version control (Git).
