Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Bus Driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will operate a bus on scheduled routes, ensuring passenger safety, timely arrivals, and adherence to traffic laws.

Key Requirements

– Valid EC or EC1 driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
– Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
– Proven experience in coach or bus driving
– Touring experience is advantageous
– Strong customer service skills and a safety-oriented mindset
– Professional appearance and conduct
– Excellent communication and navigation abilities
– Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
– Ability to handle luggage and maintain a clean vehicle
– Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial
– Punctuality and ability to remain calm under pressure

Duties and Responsibilities

– Operate the bus safely and efficiently on designated routes
– Ensure the safety of passengers and comply with traffic laws
– Maintain the vehicle in good condition, including cleanliness and routine checks
– Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions promptly
– Adhere to company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct
– Keep accurate logs and records of activities
– Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
– Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
