We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Bus Driver. The ideal candidate will have:

A valid Driver’s Licence (EC1 or C1 – Heavy motor vehicle up to 16000kg) and PDP.
Fluency in English.
Previous experience in driving a school bus or similar role.
Reliability, punctuality, and a responsible attitude.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Good communication skills to interact with learners, parents, and staff.
A trustworthy and enthusiastic approach to work.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
A Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
A clear criminal record.

Operate a school transportation vehicle along designated routes according to schedules.
Pick up and drop off students at assigned stops.
Transport students and teachers for field trips, planning routes as needed.
Maintain discipline and order among student passengers.

Assist with general maintenance and facility support.
Address maintenance requests and perform routine checks on facilities.
Complete repairs such as plumbing and report major issues to the facilities manager.
Store and maintain tools for maintenance tasks.
Provide support for security, access control, and traffic management.
Maintain gardens, including grass and flower beds.
Review daily work rosters and advise on gardening needs.

<li Report mechanical issues when necessary.

Service the bus, including refueling, checking tires, and oil levels.
Perform safety drills as required by law and maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness.
Attend safety meetings and training updates.
