- The Transnet Bursary Programme is designed to develop a pipeline of highly skilled professionals in critical fields. It supports future or current university students who need financial assistance to study in scare and critical skills areas. Bursaries are awarded annually to top-performing learners under 25 years old, studying qualifications that align with Transnet’s strategic goals.
Bursary Requirements
For Grade 12 Learners:
- South African citizens with a minimum of Level 5 (60% and above) in mid-year results or Grade 12 certificate in English and relevant subjects.
- Pursuing qualifications in:
- BSc/B.Eng. in Electronics Engineering
- BSc/B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering
- BSc/B.Eng. in Industrial Engineering
- BSc/B.Eng. in Metallurgy Engineering
- BSc/B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering
For Tertiary Students:
- South African citizens studying towards:
- BSc/B.Eng. in Electronics Engineering
