Core Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections for compliance with building regulations
- Review and assess building plan applications
- Monitor construction activities and report violations
- Prepare legal documentation for non-compliant projects
- Provide technical guidance to public and contractors
Essential Requirements
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Bilingual proficiency (English + one official Western Cape language)
- Eligibility for Peace Officer registration
Preferred Qualification
- Peace Officer Certification
