About the Role

The main purpose of this role is to provide safe, prompt and efficient delivery service to all store clients, ensuring that all items are delivered without breakages or shortages.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers.
• Ensure the vehicle is neatly packed and secure.
• Prevent damages and breakages during transport.
• Supervise and assist with loading and unloading.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection checks.
• Report any defects or issues.
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition.
• Supply correct quantities and supplies.
• Reduce vehicle operating costs.
• Authorize delivery notes.
• Collect cash on delivery (COD) monies.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Uphold and promote the company values and culture.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) licence (vehicle weight < 16001 kg).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
