We have exciting opportunities in Clicks stores for Beauty Advisors who report to the Store Manager and handle the entire beauty department.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • To provide excellent service by offering professional advice on beauty and skincare products. Promote and manage merchandise effectively, and keep the area clean to build customer loyalty and boost sales.

Job Objectives:

  • Consult with customers, answer questions about products, and recommend the best options to meet their needs.
  • Drive sales in the beauty department by promoting products, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
  • Monitor sales, review product performance, and suggest improvements to increase offerings and sales.
  • Stay updated on beauty products, trends, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
  • Handle all operational tasks in the beauty department, including stock management, reducing losses, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and administration.
  • Ensure visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional standards are always met in the beauty department.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, staying visible, and providing a friendly, professional experience.
  • Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to reach participation goals.
  • Boost profitability and customer loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
  • Make the brand the customer’s top choice for health and beauty by living the company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Grade 12
  • Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification
  • Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

  • Understanding of sales principles
  • Retail or FMCG background with knowledge of merchandising and promotions
  • Knowledge of stock management
  • Expertise in customer service
  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products
