We have exciting opportunities in Clicks stores for Beauty Advisors. You will report to the Store Manager and handle the entire beauty department.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To provide excellent service by offering professional advice on beauty and skincare products. Promote and manage merchandise effectively, and maintain a clean store to build customer loyalty and boost sales.

Job Objectives:

  • Consult with customers, answer questions about products, and recommend the best items and services for their needs.
  • Drive sales in the beauty department by promoting products, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
  • Monitor sales, review product performance, and suggest improvements to increase offerings and sales.
  • Stay updated on beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
  • Handle all operational tasks in the beauty department, including stock management, reducing losses, and keeping the area clean and organized.
  • Ensure visual merchandising, store presentation, and promotions meet high standards in the beauty department.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service as a brand ambassador, being approachable and professional.
  • Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to reach participation goals.
  • Boost profits and customer loyalty by highlighting private label and exclusive products.
  • Make the brand the top choice for health and beauty by embodying company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Desirable: Qualification in beauty or skincare
  • Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

  • Understanding of sales principles
  • Retail or FMCG background, knowledge of merchandising and promotions
  • Understanding of stock management
  • Knowledge of excellent customer service
