We have exciting opportunities in Clicks stores for a Beauty Assistant. You will report to the Store Manager and service the entire beauty department.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To deliver excellent service by providing professional advice on beauty and skincare products. Promote and manage merchandise effectively, and maintain general housekeeping to build customer loyalty and boost sales.

Job Objectives:

• Consult with customers, answer questions about products, and recommend the best items and services for their needs.
• Drive sales in the beauty department through promotions, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
• Monitor sales, evaluate product performance, and suggest improvements to increase sales.
• Stay updated on all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
• Handle all operational tasks in the beauty department, including stock management, reducing shrinkage, and keeping high housekeeping and admin standards.
• Ensure visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards are always met in the beauty department.
• Provide superior customer service as a brand ambassador, being visible, friendly, and professional.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to reach participation targets.
• Boost profitability and brand loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
• Make our brand the customer’s top choice for health and beauty by living our company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential: Grade 12
• Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification
• Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing
