We have exciting opportunities in our stores for Beauty Assistants. You will report to the Store Manager and handle the entire beauty department.

Job Description

Job Purpose

To provide excellent service by offering professional advice on beauty and skincare products. Promote and manage merchandise effectively, and keep the department tidy to build customer loyalty and increase sales.

Job Objectives

• Consult with customers, answer questions about products, and recommend the best items and services for their needs.
• Drive sales in the beauty department by promoting products, suggesting add-ons, and upselling to meet monthly targets.
• Track sales, review product performance, and suggest improvements to boost offerings and sales.
• Stay updated on all beauty products, trends, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
• Handle daily operations in the beauty department, including stock management, reducing losses, and maintaining cleanliness and paperwork.
• Ensure the beauty department looks appealing with proper visual displays, presentations, and promotions.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by being approachable, friendly, and professional as a brand representative.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to reach participation goals.
• Increase profits and customer loyalty by highlighting private label and exclusive products.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Essential: Grade 12
• Desirable: Qualification in beauty or skincare
• Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), sales, or marketing

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge

• Understanding of sales techniques
• Retail or FMCG experience, including merchandising and promotions
• Knowledge of stock management
