Introduction

Are you passionate about beauty products and helping people look and feel their best? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge with customers? We have exciting opportunities for Beauty Assistants in our Clicks stores. You will report to the Store Manager and handle the entire beauty department.

Job Purpose

To provide excellent service by offering professional advice on beauty and skincare products. Promote and manage merchandise effectively, maintain housekeeping standards, build customer loyalty, and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers, answer questions, and recommend the best products and services for their needs.
  • Boost sales in the beauty department through promotions, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
  • Track sales performance, evaluate products, and suggest improvements to increase offerings and sales.
  • Stay updated on beauty products, trends, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
  • Manage daily operations in the beauty department, including stock control, reducing shrinkage, housekeeping, and administration.
  • Ensure visual merchandising, store presentation, and promotional standards are always met.
  • Deliver top customer service as a brand ambassador, staying visible and friendly.
  • Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to reach participation goals.
  • Increase profits and loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
  • Support the brand as the top choice for health and beauty by living the company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential: Grade 12
  • Desirable: Qualification in beauty or skincare
  • Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing
