Introduction

We have exciting opportunities in Clicks stores for Beauty Assistants. You will report to the Store Manager and service the entire beauty department.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To provide excellent service by offering professional advice on beauty and skincare products, promoting merchandise, and maintaining the department. This builds customer loyalty and boosts sales.

Job Objectives:

  • Consult with customers, answer questions about products, and recommend the best options for their needs.
  • Drive sales in the beauty department through promotions, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
  • Monitor sales, evaluate product performance, and suggest improvements to increase offerings and sales.
  • Stay updated on beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
  • Handle all operational tasks in the beauty department, including stock management, reducing shrinkage, and keeping the area clean and organized.
  • Ensure visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards are always met.
  • Deliver top customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being approachable, and providing friendly, professional help.
  • Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to reach participation targets.
  • Boost profitability and loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
  • Make Clicks the customer’s top choice for health and beauty by living the company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Desirable: Qualification in beauty or skincare
  • Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

  • Understanding of selling principles
  • Retail or FMCG background, with knowledge of merchandising and promotions
  • Understanding of stock management procedures
  • Knowledge of excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products
