About the Role
Conduct compliance audits and verifications to ensure adherence to tax regulations and legislation. This role requires delivering quality results within specified timelines while maintaining professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tax compliance audits/verifications based on risk assessments
- Analyze financial records and identify potential non-compliance issues
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations
- Present cases to penalty assessment committees
- Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet audit objectives
- Implement process improvements to enhance audit efficiency
Requirements
Education:
National Diploma (NQF6) in Finance/Accounting/Taxation/Auditing
OR
Senior Certificate (NQF4) with additional qualifying experience
Experience:
2-5 years’ experience in tax consulting/audit environment, including 1-2 years at knowledge worker level
