Assistant Training Officer – Learners

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting SLP targets for Engineering Learners, considering current numbers, turnover, and employment equity.
  • Help with recruiting, onboarding, and inducting engineering learners and practical trainees.
  • Coordinate placement and training schedules for learners at CTC and Operations.
  • Keep learner records up to date, following MQA, QCTO, ISO, and Learning and Development policies.
  • Provide accurate progress reports on learners for monthly and weekly departmental needs.
  • Review learner feedback to find areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate the Learnership Program and suggest ways to make it better.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Engineering Trade Certificate
  • An Assessor Certificate

Minimum Experience

  • At least 3 years as an Artisan
  • Good skills in MS Office
  • Driver’s License (Code EB/08)
  • Experience in the mining industry is a plus
