Assistant Technician (Banking Infrastructure Projects) – Gauteng

Position Summary

We’re seeking a technically proficient Assistant Technician to support installation projects for banking security systems. This role requires hands-on participation in alarm, CCTV, and access control installations across Gauteng.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support lead technicians in installing security systems
  • Perform cable routing and equipment mounting
  • Conduct system power-up tests and basic diagnostics
  • Maintain installation tools and workspaces
  • Assist with client handovers and documentation

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certification
  • Proven wireman experience
  • Basic electrical/electronic knowledge
  • PSIRA Grade C (advantageous)
