Position Summary
Oversee technical operations and maintenance at our healthcare facility while leading a technical team. Ensure optimal performance of building systems and equipment through effective management of resources and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage building maintenance and equipment operations
- Lead technical projects and risk mitigation initiatives
- Supervise contractor work and service providers
- Maintain quality control and safety compliance
- Manage departmental budget and reporting
- Coordinate team operations and staff development
Requirements
Education:
– NQF Level 6 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Thermodynamics/Electro Technology required)
Experience:
– Minimum 4 years post-graduate engineering experience
– HVAC and electrical systems experience preferred
– Facility management background advantageous
Certifications:
– Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
