Assistant Store Manager Position – Vereeniging, Gauteng

- Minimum Education: Matric Certificate (Bachelor’s advantageous)
- Experience Required: 3-5 years retail management (FMCG preferred)
- Location: Vereeniging, Gauteng
- Department: Retail Operations
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth through superior customer service
- Maintain optimal stock levels and merchandising standards
- Lead team of 15+ staff members with training/coaching initiatives
- Oversee daily cash management and financial reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations
- Analyze sales data for operational improvements
- Manage vendor relationships and store security protocols
Essential Requirements:
- Proven retail leadership experience
- Strong numerical/analytical skills
- Valid driver’s license with own transport
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work flexible retail hours
