Position Overview
We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations at our Sebokeng cellular store. Help drive sales performance while maintaining exceptional customer service standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Management
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and audits
- Supervise merchandise replenishment and stockroom organization
- Authorize product returns and manage loss prevention strategies
Sales & Profit Growth
- Analyze sales reports to identify growth opportunities
- Drive performance in key areas: mobile plans, insurance, and credit services
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
Customer Experience
- Maintain store presentation standards and promotional displays
- Implement customer service initiatives and handle feedback
Team Leadership
- Supervise store staff and conduct performance reviews
- Identify training needs and support team development
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations
- Conduct regular store audits and risk assessments
Requirements
- Matric/NQF Level 4 certification
- 3+ years retail experience (management experience preferred)
- Proven sales track record in cellular/mobile products
- Strong computer skills and financial literacy
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
