Join our dynamic team at Mr Price Group as an Assistant Store Manager, supporting the Store Manager in driving daily operations at our East Rand location. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences while achieving business targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Management: Oversee inventory processes, including stock receipt, replenishment, and loss prevention. Maintain organized stockrooms and manage product returns.
• Sales Growth: Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement. Drive performance in mobile, insurance, and credit product sales.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements through regular checks and reporting.
• Customer Service: Maintain high service standards by implementing customer feedback and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop staff to achieve operational goals while fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Matric certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
• 3+ years of retail experience (management experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in sales analysis and inventory management
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of mobile and insurance products
