Position Summary
We seek a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Miladys Matlosana location. The successful candidate will drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and deliver exceptional customer service while leading store teams.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Maintain optimal stock levels through regular counts and loss prevention strategies
- Supervise stock handling from reception to sales floor merchandising
- Ensure compliance with company standards (health/safety, visual displays, store audits)
Sales Leadership
- Analyze sales reports to identify growth opportunities
- Develop strategies to enhance local brand visibility and customer acquisition
- Monitor store profitability and operational expenses
Team Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor store team members
- Manage recruitment and performance evaluations
- Implement staff development and succession planning
Requirements
- Matric certificate essential
- 3+ years retail management experience
- Proven sales and service management skills
- Strong communication and computer literacy
- Comprehensive understanding of retail operations
