Position Purpose
The role is to maintain the Lindt brand’s integrity and image by managing daily operations at the Lindt Retail Boutique. You will work closely with staff, the Store Manager, and corporate contacts to support the growth and development of the Lindt brand.
Store Operations
- Help manage the daily operations of the Lindt Retail Boutique.
- Support excellent customer service by leading by example and setting clear guidelines.
- Track daily sales to increase store profits while keeping customer service a priority.
- Order merchandise and supplies on time, focusing on inventory control and preventing losses.
- Reconcile cash with sales receipts daily, handle paperwork, accounting, and other store tasks.
- Build and grow the corporate sales business and strategy.
- Use full knowledge of products and sales to meet goals and control costs.
- Keep high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety.
- Open and close the boutique based on the shift schedule.
- Prepare monthly reports as needed by head office.
Marketing
- Find local marketing opportunities and support company-wide marketing efforts.
- Carry out local marketing plans from the Marketing department.
- Follow price changes and corporate merchandising guidelines.
- Keep store merchandising to company standards.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiar with social media channels.
- Good time management habits.
- A self-starter who can work alone or in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in merchandising premium products, with strong customer service and sales skills.
- Sales-focused, with the ability to develop and grow business.
- A natural talent for sales.
- A passion for chocolate.
- Friendly and outgoing.
- Proactive.
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of retail management experience.
- Tertiary education preferred.
