Job Purpose
To help the Store Manager run the store efficiently and deliver top service. This includes driving sales and building customer loyalty to meet sales, profit, and compliance goals, creating a strong position for the brand.
Job Objectives
- Help achieve the store’s financial goals by boosting sales through promotions, cross-selling, up-selling, and great customer service from the team.
- Handle all store operations smoothly, including expenses, stock control, loss prevention, cleaning, and admin tasks.
- Set up eye-catching displays and promotions to match brand standards and keep the store looking sharp.
- Support the Store Manager in motivating staff, helping them meet targets, and managing the team when the manager is away.
- Help create daily work schedules that follow company labor rules and ensure all areas are properly staffed.
- Run customer service programs that create positive experiences, build loyalty, and hit club card targets.
- Manage admin duties well, like submitting time records and employee details to HR each week.
- Promote the brand as the top choice for health and beauty by living the company’s values.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- Grade 12 (at least 50% in Maths and English)
- Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification (for external applicants)
- Degree in Retail or Business Management (preferred)
- At least 1 year as an assistant store manager in retail or FMCG, or completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
- Experience with financial management (budgets, profit/loss, ratios, etc.)
Job Knowledge and Skills

- Retail or FMCG experience, including merchandising and promotions
