Assistant Store Manager – Clicks Hibiscus Mall

Position Summary
We seek a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support operational excellence, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences at our Hibiscus Mall location.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience:
- Drive sales growth through promotions, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives
- Implement customer service programs to enhance shopping experience and loyalty
- Maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with brand guidelines
Operations Management:
- Oversee stock control, shrinkage reduction, and inventory management
- Manage store administration including shift scheduling and payroll reporting
- Ensure compliance with health/safety standards and store cleanliness
Team Leadership:
- Support staff training and performance management
- Motivate team to achieve individual and store targets
- Assume store management responsibilities when required
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Matric certificate with 50% pass in Mathematics and English
- 1+ years retail management experience OR Clicks Trainee Program completion
- Retail/Business Management qualification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Retail/Business Management
- Financial management experience (P&L, budgeting)
