Assistant Store Manager – Clicks Golden Walk

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Location: Germiston, Gauteng
  • Experience Required: 1+ year retail management
  • Education: Matric (Maths & English 50%) + Retail/Business qualification

Core Purpose:

Support store operations and drive sales performance while maintaining service excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive sales growth through promotions and customer engagement
  2. Manage daily operations including stock control and expenses
  3. Maintain visual merchandising standards
  4. Supervise staff and assist with scheduling
  5. Implement customer loyalty programs
  6. Handle administrative duties and reporting

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven retail/FMCG management experience
  • Financial management skills (P&L, budgets)
  • Strong leadership and people management
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in retail systems and MS Office
