Introduction

Job Purpose
To assist the Store Manager in running the store efficiently and delivering excellent service. This involves driving sales, building customer loyalty, and meeting sales, profit, and compliance targets to maintain a competitive advantage for the brand.
Job Objectives
- Achieve the store’s financial goals by maximizing sales through promotions, cross-selling, up-selling, and providing superior customer service across the team.
- Handle all store operations smoothly, including managing expenses, stock, shrinkage, housekeeping, and administration.
- Implement in-store visual merchandising to meet presentation and promotion standards, ensuring the store’s appearance aligns with the brand image.
- Support the Store Manager in motivating and guiding staff to meet targets and manage the team effectively when the manager is absent.
- Help create daily work schedules in line with the company’s labour policy and model to keep all departments fully staffed.
- Carry out customer service initiatives that create a positive experience, boost loyalty, and reach club card participation goals.
- Manage administrative tasks efficiently, such as submitting weekly time and attendance records and employee details to HR.
- Promote the brand as the top choice for health and beauty retail by embodying and encouraging the company’s values.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- Essential: Grade 12 (with at least 50% in Maths and English)
- Essential: Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification (for external applicants)
- Desirable: Degree in Retail or Business Management
- At least 1 year of experience in an assistant store management role in retail or FMCG operations, or completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
- Experience in financial management (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.)
