Position Details
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Springs, Gauteng
Experience: 1-2 years (mining environment preferred)
Education: Grade 11 or equivalent minimum
Field: Engineering/Technical
Requirements
- South African citizenship with clean criminal record
- Proficiency in English plus one other official language
- Basic knowledge of underground water systems (advantageous)
- Strong communication skills and safety awareness
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor operational status of pumping systems
- Assist with pump installation, repairs, and pipe maintenance
- Immediately report equipment failures to prevent flooding risks
- Maintain clean work areas to ensure pump efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and supervisor instructions
