Key Responsibilities
Programme Execution
- Oversee live program rundowns and make real-time editorial decisions
- Collaborate with anchors to develop engaging content aligned with audience interests
- Implement quality control measures for error-free broadcasts
- Develop innovative news presentation formats
Team Leadership
- Supervise production teams and optimize staffing allocations
- Foster professional development through mentoring and coaching
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Content Development
- Lead production meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Maintain current knowledge of local/global affairs and broadcasting standards
- Secure high-profile guests and coordinate interview logistics
Essential Qualifications
- Proven track record in live television production
- Strong editorial judgement and crisis management skills
- Comprehensive understanding of broadcasting regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
