Assistant Material Controller
Position Details
Location: Secunda, Mpumalanga
Employment Type: Full Time
Experience: 1+ year (Explosives/Mining advantageous)
Education: Grade 12 Certificate
Requirements: Valid Driver’s License
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production acceptance and update magazine registers
- Prepare explosives for dispatch with proper labeling and documentation
- Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) stock management system
- Conduct daily stock counts per explosives regulations
- Coordinate safe loading of outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate electronic/physical inventory records
- Support operational teams with administrative tasks
Candidate Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic computer literacy
- 1-year experience in mining/supply chain (preferred)
- Knowledge of explosive handling regulations (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
