Assistant Material Controller (Fixed Term) – Mpumalanga

Position Details

• Employment Type: Contract
• Education Requirement: Matric Certificate
• Experience: 1+ years (Explosives/Mining experience advantageous)
• Location: Mpumalanga
• Department: Manufacturing & Operations

Key Responsibilities

Production Management:

• Accept production transfers and maintain accurate magazine registers
• Prepare products for dispatch with proper labeling
• Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory management

Stock Control:

• Conduct daily stock counts per explosives regulations
• Submit daily stock reports to management
• Minimize expired stock through proactive management

Administrative Support:

• Maintain accurate documentation for all stock movements
• Support magazine team with operational paperwork

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of explosives magazine registers (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
• Basic computer literacy for record keeping
