About Us:
The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development provides administrative support to South Africa’s justice system, including court operations, legal advisory services, and oversight of national prosecution authorities.
Requirements:
- LLB Degree or equivalent 4-year legal qualification
- Knowledge of key legislation:
- Administration of Estates Act
- Mental Health Act
- Insolvency Act
- Companies/Close Corporations Acts
- Trust Property Control Act
- Experience in Master of High Court operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage estate administration (deceased/insolvent)
- Oversee trust funds and curatorships
- Implement departmental policies and legislation
- Optimize office processes and resource management
- Supervise Guardians’ Fund operations
