Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety Management or Construction Health & Safety
- Certificates in Safety Management/Project Management (advantageous)
- Mandatory registration with OHS statutory/professional body
- 5+ years’ experience in health & safety management
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Budgeting:
- Develop unit objectives and budgets
- Implement health & safety standards
Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage staff performance and training
- Oversee reporting structures
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Monitor adherence to OHS legislation
- Liaise with government departments
Project Oversight:
- Manage health & safety consultants
- Ensure compliance on construction sites
