Position Overview
We’re seeking a qualified Infrastructure Specialist to join our Limpopo team. This role involves leading audit processes and providing technical expertise for infrastructure projects across government entities.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Leadership
- Guide audit teams on infrastructure technical matters
- Identify project risks and plan audit resources
- Manage audit budgets and timelines
- Conduct site visits and project evaluations
Technical Analysis
- Review construction contracts and cost analyses
- Assess project tenders and procurement processes
- Analyze infrastructure project outcomes
- Prepare detailed audit reports
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with government departments
- Present findings to senior management
- Develop audit recommendations
Team Development
- Mentor junior staff
- Conduct training sessions
- Manage team performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- Professional registration (e.g., ECSA, SACQSP) preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in infrastructure projects
- Experience with public sector projects (health, education, municipal infrastructure)
