Position Overview

We’re seeking a qualified Infrastructure Specialist to join our Limpopo team. This role involves leading audit processes and providing technical expertise for infrastructure projects across government entities.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Leadership

  • Guide audit teams on infrastructure technical matters
  • Identify project risks and plan audit resources
  • Manage audit budgets and timelines
  • Conduct site visits and project evaluations

Technical Analysis

  • Review construction contracts and cost analyses
  • Assess project tenders and procurement processes
  • Analyze infrastructure project outcomes
  • Prepare detailed audit reports

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with government departments
  • Present findings to senior management
  • Develop audit recommendations

Team Development

  • Mentor junior staff
  • Conduct training sessions
  • Manage team performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
  • Professional registration (e.g., ECSA, SACQSP) preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in infrastructure projects
  • Experience with public sector projects (health, education, municipal infrastructure)
