Assistant Manager Finance – Apex Group
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and financial reporting
- Maintain fixed asset registers and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare tax computations, revenue accruals, and intercompany account balancing
- Generate management accounts and annual financial statements
- Coordinate statutory audits and regulatory compliance reporting
- Present financial results to executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- 2-3 years audit experience at a professional firm
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
- Strong understanding of IFRS and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
