– Experience: 8+ years in plant operations, maintenance & project management
– Professional Requirement: Government Certificate of Competence (GCC)

The Opportunity
Lead operational excellence at our coal production facility by:
– Driving project lifecycle management from concept to completion
– Optimizing asset performance through proven management frameworks
– Implementing continuous improvement strategies aligned with business goals
– Ensuring strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Core Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership:
– Oversee engineering standards and quality assurance processes
– Provide technical support across operational teams
– Manage capital projects within budget and timelines
2. Operational Management:
– Develop asset management strategies
– Implement reliability-centered maintenance programs
– Conduct risk assessments and mitigation plans
3. Compliance & Safety:
– Enforce OHSA/MHSA regulations
– Promote zero-harm workplace culture
– Monitor environmental management systems
4. Team Development:
– Mentor engineering staff
– Conduct performance reviews
– Facilitate skills development programs
Candidate Requirements
– Valid GCC Certification (Non-negotiable)
– Proven track record in heavy industry maintenance management
– Strong financial acumen for budget control
– Proficient in asset lifecycle management software
– Leadership training/management development certification
– Medical fitness certificate for mining operations
