Assistant Manager: Building & Facilities Management

Position Overview:
We seek a qualified professional to oversee building maintenance operations at our Gauteng facility. This role reports to the Building and Facilities Maintenance Manager and requires hands-on management of maintenance activities and contractor performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance tools and equipment inventory
- Develop and implement infrastructure improvement plans
- Supervise maintenance scheduling and quality control
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and SOPs
- Monitor contractor performance against service agreements
- Assist in budget management and resource optimization
- Lead team development initiatives and project execution
Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma/Certificate in Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil fields
- Valid trade test certification
- 3-5 years maintenance operations experience
- 1-2 years in supervisory role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid Code B driver’s license
