Assistant General Worker (Gauteng)

Purpose

  • To provide general site assistance and support.

Responsibilities

  • Work with site teams to help achieve operational goals and targets.
  • Assist with daily inspections of your assigned area and report any issues or hazards.
  • Support pipeline and valve operations under supervision.
  • Help solve operational problems and report any issues to the site team.
  • Assist with other general site activities as needed to support operations.
  • Perform basic housekeeping to keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assigned tasks.
  • Comply with all safety rules, regulations, and company procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.

Experience

  • At least one year of relevant experience.

Skills, Qualities, and Abilities Required

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Safety awareness.

General Requirements

  • Pass background checks, including criminal screening.
  • May need to work rotating shifts.
  • May be required to work overtime occasionally.
  • Must be physically, mentally, and medically fit.
