Assistant Financial Manager Opportunity – Johannesburg

Position Summary:

Full-time role in Sunninghill for a finance professional to lead a team of 3, manage accounting processes, and ensure financial compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: B.Com Honors in Accounting
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in similar financial management role
  • Software Skills: SAP Business One, CaseWare, SAGE 300, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and VAT returns
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and fixed asset tracking
  • Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance
  • Develop financial reports using Power BI data analysis
  • Handle banking relationships and credit facilities

Essential Competencies:

  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Strategic budgeting and forecasting abilities
  • Strong problem-solving with attention to detail
  • Effective team collaboration skills
