Position Summary:

Support the Finance Manager in overseeing full financial operations for our retail operations. Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management while leading a dedicated finance team.

Key Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Experience: 3+ years post-qualification (Retail/FMCG preferred)
• Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Operations Management:

• Oversee daily financial processes including reconciliations, payments, and cash flow management
• Manage ERP system transactions and resolve financial queries

Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and tax regulations
• Lead audit processes and balance sheet reconciliations

Retail Financial Analysis:

• Monitor store performance metrics and inventory controls
• Identify cost optimization opportunities with operational teams

Team Leadership:

• Manage and develop finance team members
• Conduct performance reviews and training programs

Candidate Requirements:

• Completed SAICA articles (CA(SA) registration preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
• Proven leadership experience in financial teams
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
