Position: Assistant Finance Manager (Assistant Director Level)

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree/Higher Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or Related Field
Experience Needed: 3-5 years (Minimum 3 years supervisory experience)
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Core Requirements
– NQF Level 6/7 qualification in Financial Management/Accounting
– Experience in project financial management and budgeting
– Proven track record in preparing Annual Financial Statements
– Strong knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and GRAP standards
Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight:
– Manage internal controls and resource allocation
– Prepare quarterly financial statements aligned with GRAP standards
– Monitor expenditure and project funding reconciliations
Strategic Planning:
– Develop annual budgets and spending forecasts
– Analyze cost-benefit ratios for investments
– Advise leadership on fiscal strategies and opportunities
Compliance & Reporting:
– Ensure adherence to PFMA and procurement regulations
– Prepare reports for Advisory Committee and Board
– Maintain financial policy documentation
