Position: Assistant Director: Community Sport Development
Job Type: Full Time
Required Qualifications:
- Matric/National Senior Certificate
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Sport Management, Sport Science, or related field
Experience: 2-3 years in sport/recreation coordination
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (willingness to travel)
- Knowledge of sport policies and community development strategies
- Experience in program monitoring and stakeholder engagement
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop frameworks to increase participation in community sports
- Coordinate inclusive programs with local authorities
- Implement outreach campaigns for underrepresented groups
- Monitor provincial performance against targets
- Evaluate program effectiveness and compile reports
