Position: Assistant Director: Community Sport Development

Job Type: Full Time

Required Qualifications:

  • Matric/National Senior Certificate
  • National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Sport Management, Sport Science, or related field

Experience: 2-3 years in sport/recreation coordination

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license (willingness to travel)
  • Knowledge of sport policies and community development strategies
  • Experience in program monitoring and stakeholder engagement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop frameworks to increase participation in community sports
  • Coordinate inclusive programs with local authorities
  • Implement outreach campaigns for underrepresented groups
  • Monitor provincial performance against targets
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and compile reports
