About the Role

The National Treasury seeks a qualified professional to develop strategic procurement frameworks and improve public financial management. This position requires analyzing supply chain operations and implementing government procurement strategies.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate with National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Understanding of public sector procurement regulations
• Experience in data analysis and project management
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies
• Proven ability to develop procurement policies and guidelines

Core Responsibilities

• Design national procurement guidelines and monitoring systems
• Collaborate with government departments on procurement strategies
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities
• Develop demand management plans and budget analyses
• Conduct research on procurement best practices
• Prepare strategic recommendations for service delivery improvement
