Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate
- 3-year National Diploma/Degree (NQF 6/7) in Records Management, Information Science, or related field
- 2-3 years relevant experience in records management (including 2 years at Archivist level)
- Knowledge of National Archives Act, PAIA, and information security standards
- TRC records experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Process PAIA applications and manage sensitive records disclosure
- Oversee TRC records access through collaboration with Justice Department
- Maintain security protocols for classified materials (MISS compliance)
- Supervise record management systems (AtoM archival database)
- Manage secure reading room operations and researcher access
- Maintain detailed tracking systems for classified document movements
