Position: Assistant Director: Radiation Oncology Grade 1-2

Location: Frere Tertiary Hospital, Buffalo City Metro, Eastern Cape

Core Requirements:

• HPCSA-registered qualification in Radiotherapy (Independent Practice registration)
• 5+ years post-community service experience including 3 years supervisory experience
• Hospital environment experience preferred
• Additional relevant qualifications advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily radiotherapy department operations and staffing schedules
• Manage clinical services, equipment maintenance, and stock control
• Develop quality assurance programs and treatment protocols
• Implement new radiation therapy technologies and techniques
• Supervise staff development and student training programs
• Manage departmental budgeting and resource allocation
