Position: Assistant Director: Project Management

Reference No: CORP/ASD/PM/02

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Salary: R468,459 per annum (Level 09) + 37% benefits allowance

Employment Type: Contract

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
  • National Diploma/Degree in Building Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in facilities/SHERQ/OHS management
  • 2-3 years supervisory experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of TVET sector regulations
  • Understanding of Public Service Act, OHS Act, and facilities management systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute infrastructure projects in line with Capital Infrastructure Efficiency Grant requirements
  • Develop maintenance plans for college facilities and equipment
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate stakeholder communication and progress reporting
  • Oversee vendor contracts and service delivery
  • Implement risk management and safety protocols
  • Conduct project performance evaluations
