Position: Assistant Director: Project Management

Salary: R468,459 per annum (Level 09) + 37% benefits allowance
Employment Type: Contract
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
- National Diploma/Degree in Building Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- 3-5 years relevant experience in facilities/SHERQ/OHS management
- 2-3 years supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy and knowledge of TVET sector regulations
- Understanding of Public Service Act, OHS Act, and facilities management systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects in line with Capital Infrastructure Efficiency Grant requirements
- Develop maintenance plans for college facilities and equipment
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate stakeholder communication and progress reporting
- Oversee vendor contracts and service delivery
- Implement risk management and safety protocols
- Conduct project performance evaluations
