About the Role:
Manage and oversee transparent, effective movable asset management systems for provincial departments and public entities.
Requirements:
- ✅ Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Financial Management, Accounting, or Commerce (NQF 7)
- ✅ 3+ years experience in asset/inventory management
- ✅ Valid Code B driver’s license (Non-drivers with reliable transport may apply)
Preferred Qualifications:
- • Public sector asset management regulatory knowledge
- • Experience in compliance monitoring
- • Policy/Procedure development experience
Key Responsibilities:
- • Develop asset management policies & governance frameworks
- • Monitor departmental compliance & provide support
- • Manage financial reporting processes
- • Lead capacity building initiatives
Essential Competencies:
- • Strong understanding of GRAP accounting standards
- • Financial analysis & reporting expertise
- • Project management skills
- • Strategic planning & problem-solving abilities
Salary Package:
R468,459 – R561,894 per annum (Level 9)
