About the Role
We seek a qualified professional to implement financial management systems and optimize resource allocation for the Western Cape Government. This role focuses on budget coordination, financial planning, and expenditure management to support effective governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budget preparation and financial forecasting processes
- Develop financial reports for strategic decision-making
- Monitor compliance with public finance regulations
- Manage revenue tracking and expenditure control systems
- Supervise financial team members
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Finance/Accounting or related field
- 3+ years experience in management accounting
- Proficiency in public sector financial regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in government financial management
- Valid driver’s license (Code B or higher) or alternative transport access
