Minimum Requirements

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Labour Relations/Labour Law
  • Proven experience in labour relations practice
  • Comprehensive knowledge of:
    • Labour Relations Act (66 of 1995)
    • Public Service Regulations
    • DPSA guidelines
  • Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage disciplinary processes and represent the department in hearings
  • Advise provincial stakeholders on labour relations matters
  • Facilitate dispute resolution and collective bargaining processes
  • Coordinate Provincial Consultative Forum activities
  • Monitor compliance with labour regulations
  • Prepare detailed reports on misconduct cases
  • Represent department in mediation/arbitration proceedings
